all about ms. young
January 19, 2007two years ago or more, young asked me to write about her.
when i was cleaning up my desk, i saw the manuscript.
i thought of posting it here before i throw the handwritten version, to make it part of my written history.
it goes like this.
Capturing the beauty, wonder, and complexity of a human being–moulded in the image and likeness of the Divine Creator–in a single paragraph or two, requires more than a great command of the english language.
It is a daunting task great men and women of then and now tried and are still trying to accomplish.
This challenge may be beyond the ability of the mortals, but the answer still lies within the boundaries of a limitless human mind.
The following sentences are an attempt to accomplish that challenge…
Her infectious and boisterous laughter is a given.
She proves to be the best person to be around if you want to lighten up your day.
Beyond the distinct laughter is a person whose jovial disposition in life is unimaginable. She knows when a laughter is required or when a sincere smile is just enough.
Laughter maybe one of her biggest assets, but there's more to this girl who brings sunshine to everyone she knows.
Indeed, great things come in small packages.
She knows how to express unconditional love to her family who've been rallying behind her ever since.
She understands how to caress a friend who is in deep sorrow.
She believes in teh mystery and wondrousness of the phenomenon called love.
She tries to master the ropes of this so-called life.
She is a woman.
She is she.
She is Kathy.
I recokon this is yet another frustated attempt, for a person can never be reduced in a paragraph nor a blurb. The sbuject of this description certainly is byond the wisdom of a human mind.
*sparkles!
