and they thought it was no.1
January 17, 2007i love copywriting…the creativity that needs to produce a brilliant copy and the difficulty to produce that creativity.
every now and then, i try to compose a copy for my dream lifestyle company — ediqve®–which i love doing.
recently, i just created a copy for the start of the new year.
"your imagination is your limitation. ediqve. the power of I." (for my yahoo! email) and "ignite thy fire" (for my blog).
i never thought, the first one would ignite a different fire.
my digicon family recently just finished an event for robinsons.
i virtually did all the legwork. well, basically because, three projects are in line for this month. as such, we have to do things simultaneously. the only way we can attend to all of the tasks is by going separate ways (in the meantime).
it's just recently that i used that tagline (yahoo! acct.).
a day before the event, i sent an email to my digicon family for some reminders (about the event).
they saw the tagline (in my signature). they thought it was "the power of 1," instead of "the power of I." (I stands for imagination). whereupon, they thought i felt alone during the preparation process (for the robinsons event).
well, they popped-out the question, when we were having our after-event inuman at Friday's. when they raised the question, that was the time all the questions in my mind were answered.
i was bothered. i was shaken to the core. an exaggeration, maybe.
when i arrived home, i sent an email message to mommy jo; an unneccessary gesture. but i just had to.
mommy jo sent a beautiful reply. she even apologized; again, an unneccessary gesture. but, i guess, she just had to.
anyway, the thick, dark smoke has been wiped out.
i'm glad that everything has been cleared.
the event was a success. we encountered some technical difficulties in the beginning (less than an hour before the show) but we pulled it off.
we started 03:08PM and we ended at 03:56PM; a short one, at that.
all the hardships, the sinister stares, the sleep–or the lack of it, and the boo-boos, are all worth it.
we got an invitation from Mini-Stop to do an event for them.
truly, ones imagination is also ones limitation.
*sparkles!
