it all started when i commented, "i want to watch piolo and sam's valentine concert…"

it was during sarah sudario's post-bday dinner at dencio's - megastrip.

it was a wishful thinking after a dinner of oil, fried, and cholesterol. (but it was fun!)

i don't quite remember what was the transition from that question to the topic of born-again christian.

i was all alone in sm megamall. strolling. i would never forget, "Lord, please forgive me. i'm going to stay in the chapel while waiting for my friends because i don't want to spend anything by staying at starbucks.

then, i saw this sign at the inviting doors of linea italia "ALL 2006 ITEMS, 30-50% OFF."

i caught my feet traversing a different way.

and, there i was, in the middle of italian-produced goods, drooling for the shoes! "ciao, savings…ciao, spending!"

as the goods were flying off the racks, so were my eyes.

in that unexpected visit, i received a text from ace. he had problems with the set of rules being implemented (and should religiously be followed by the faithfuls) by the catholic church." our conversation ran in the boundaries of faith to our creator.

i remember myself texting him, "I couldn't comprehend, why do we need to have mediated relationship to our creator? the way to Him is, actually, mediated in itself–it is through Christ that we can "contact" God. So, why do we still need to have a middle person in an already-mediated relationship?"

This was my message to him on my way to the 5th Floor to hang-out inside the chapel.

At that time, a mass was taking place. I decided to drop by. Since it was already in the middle part, i decided to leave during the communion part.

After the dinner, we still stayed at Dencio's. Catching up for stories…for our respective after-college lives. Sarah, Johnbert, KG, Eric, Nikki, and Pia were on the other end of the table–chatting about work. Cindy, Geoff, Lalay, and I, were discussing about something else.

Then, i popped that comment.

"i want to watch piolo and sam's valentine concert…"

and the conversation about born-again christian surfaced.

"to be continued…"
